After each college baseball I would reach out to what I felt were the top pitching coaches in the country and fly out to visit them. After retiring from the college game, I thought… “Why not bring the top pitching minds to Nashville for 3 days?”
And that’s how Pitch-a-Palooza was born.

Mike Reinold, DPT, SCS, CSCS, is a world renowned physical therapist and performance enhancement specialist and the former Head Athletic Trainer and Physical Therapist of the Boston Red Sox.
He is currently the owner of MikeReinold.com and Champion PT and Performance just outside Boston, MA.
Dr. Allen Sills
Dr. Sills is the Director of Neurosurgery at Vanderbilt Medical Center and was recently named as the Chief Medical Officer for the NFL.
Dr. Sills bring a unique application to blending the brain science with pitching science and is the perennial fan favorite the past few years at Palooza.
Evan Lewis
After discovering the benefits of Neuro Therapy while playing football at Penn State University, he opened Premier Neuro Therapy in 2015. Within just 6 months of opening, clients were so excited about Evan and his techniques that athletes from around the country began calling to request his services.

Dr. Stephen Osterer
Dr. Stephen Osterer is a chiropractor and performance director for Baseball Development Group. He developed a passion for developing healthy pitchers while playing baseball at Cornell University. He currently works as a consultant and performance director in Toronto, Ontario.
Over the past few years at Palooza, his work and research in the fields of motor learning and skill acquisition has forced many coaches to re-think what they’d been teaching.
Kyle Boddy
Boddy founded Driveline Baseball in 2012.At its training facility in Kent, Washington, Boddy coaches amateur and pro pitchers from a variety of levels on ways to increase their velocity and improve their conditioning.
Boddy has worked as a consultant and pre-draft analyst for MLB teams including the Los Angeles Dodgers and Cleveland Indians, and as a consultant for college programs including Vanderbilt, Oregon State and Coastal Carolina, which won the 2016 College World Series.
Paul Nyman
Meet “The Godfather” of new-age pitching mechanics. Paul’s work has influenced an entire generation of pitchers and pitching coaches.
His work has served as the foundation of many of the coaches and speakers at Pitch-a-Palooza. Paul was the first to coin the phrase of “intent to throw hard” and his work has been featured in countless publications.
Butch Thompson
Butch is the Head Coach at Auburn University.
He was named the 2014 Baseball America and American Baseball Coaches Association National Assistant Coach of the Year while at Mississippi State. He currently serves as the large-school representative for the Alabama Baseball Coaches Association and is an All-American committee member representing the South region for the American Baseball Coaches Association.
Widely regarded as one of the premier pitching coaches in the country, he has had seven of his former pitchers make Major League debuts since 2014 including Grant Dayton, Kendall Graveman, Jacob Lindgren, Chris Stratton, Jonathan Holder, Chad Girodo and Brandon Woodruff.
Tony Robichaux
Tony is the Head Coach at The University of Lousiana-Lafayette.
During his tenure with the Cajuns, which began in 1995, Robichaux has guided Louisiana to 12 NCAA Regional appearances (1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2002, 2005, 2007, 2010, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016), four NCAA Super Regional appearances (1999, 2000, 2014 and 2015) and the 2000 College World Series.
Robichaux became the 51st coach in NCAA Division I history to post 1,000 career wins on Feb. 28, 2015 with a 6-5 victory in Birmingham, Ala. against the Alabama Crimson Tide. In 30 seasons, Robichaux has a career record of 1,080-690-1 and ranks Top 15 amongst active NCAA Division I head coaches in career victories
Paul Reddick
Paul spent 14 years of his life was spent as the Director of The Yogi Berra Museum baseball camp and has written several books including The New Rules Of Baseball Instruction and Co-Authored The Picture Perfect Pitcher with Tom House. He’s served as an associate scout for Pittsburgh Pirates, a state delegate for USA Baseball and coached in the Montreal Expo farm system.
His pitching course, The 90mph Club, is used by more pitchers than any other pitching training program ever created.
James Ogden
James is one of the top pitching coaches in the country and continues to smash every pitching record held at Lipscomb University where he serves as the pitching coach.
Without question, James is one of the top pitching minds in the country and what he brings to the table with his progressive work with The Core Velocity Belt has led him to consulting and speaking with kids and coaches across the country and continent.
Robert Woodard
Robert Woodard returned to his alma mater as an assistant coach in August and enters his first season as Carolina’s pitching coach in his second coaching stint at UNC. The all-time winningest pitcher in program history, Woodard posted a career record of 34-5 over four seasons as a Tar Heel.
Woodard was a three-time All-ACC performer and the 2006-07 recipient of the Patterson Medal, Carolina’s highest athletic honor. Following his professional playing career in the San Diego Padres system, Woodard spent the 2011 and 2012 seasons as an assistant at UNC before serving as the pitching coach at UNCW in 2013 and at Virginia Tech from 2014-16.
Christian Wonders
Christian Wonders is the pitching coordinator for Cressey Sports Performance-MA, owner of Elite Pitching Development, and works with pitchers ranging from 10 years old, all the way up to professional baseball.
He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA, and Precision Nutrition Level 1 certified.
Jeff Passan
Jeff is the lead MLB sports writer for Yahoo Sports. Jeff Passan has covered Major League Baseball since 2004, including the past 12 years for Yahoo Sports.
He is the author of “The Arm,” a New York Times bestseller, co-author of “Death to the BCS” and he was named one of the best columnists in the country by the Associated Press Sports Editors in 2016
Bobby Tewksbary
Bobby has been named as one of the most influential hitting coaches of this generation.
His students have included AL MVP Josh Donaldson and many others. Bobby is one of the top hitting coaches in the country and his work has been featured in ESPN and ESPN NOW.
Hunter Bledsoe
Hunter was the SEC’s MVP and led the league in hitting as a senior at Vanderbilt University. His track record is impressive not only as a hitter but as a sports agent and progressive mind the game of player development.
He’s worked with the likes of Josh Donaldson, Justin Smoak and many others. His knowledge on hitting is unparalleled. Hunter is also the co-creator of the best selling Core Velocity Belt and helped co-found BaseballThinkTank with Lantz Wheeler.
Rick Strickland
Rick has had an illustrious career in America’s favorite sport. He was drafted by the New York Yankees in 1989 and played with the world’s most famous baseball team until 1993 as both an outfielder and an infielder.
He then founded the St. Louis Pirates, a nationally recognized College Development Program, in 1996. The program started as a fall season program with a goal of promoting area high school players to college and professional scouts. The program was so successful that it grew into a year-round institution in 2006.
Due to the program’s efforts, hundreds of student athletes have received college baseball scholarships and many have gone on to play the sport professionally.
Steve Englishbey
Steve has spent hundreds of hours studying video of elite baseball and fastpitch softball hitters. He has spent hundreds of hours on the field working with hitters of all ages and levels.
Steve has a unique capability to combine relatively high level playing experience, a high degree of sports science knowledge, and over a decade of teaching hitters how to develop a better baseball swing or better fastpitch softball swing.
It is rare to find a hitting instructor who has this kind of experience and capability to “do it”, “understand it”, and “teach it.”
Ryan Parker
Ryan is at the fore-front of hitting and is without question one of the most forward thinking hitting instructors in the country. His unique views on the swing have gained him notoriety across the country as one of the top hitting instructors.
His work has been featured in numerous publications and Ryan is a highly sought out as a hitting consultant by teams and organizations.
Eugene Bleeker
Eugene owns 108 Performance which is one of the top player development labs in the United States. His ability to integrate practical teaching with modern day science is quite impressive.
His list of former players and current players in which he trains reads like a “Who’s Who” list.
